TianDi (天地) refers to the rich contrast between the dark unglazed stoneware and the soft celadon glaze Xu De Jia frequently explores. This cup style is commonly used in Taiwan to drink water alongside tea.
As is the case for most Xu De Jia pieces, a fine network of crazing covers each teapot. With use, the glazed surfaces will develop a rich patina and the web of crazing will fill in with color.
