A stunning replica of one of the most famous pieces from the Song Dyanasty Imperial Kilns, this lotus-shaped incense bowl is handcrafted by Taiwanese master ceramicist Xu De Jia. The piece is formed from a light clay base, then enrobed in a captivating icy blue celadon glaze; a subtle web of craquelure covers the bowl, which will deepen in color with use. Specially commissioned from Mr. Xu, the lotus bowl can stand alone as an art piece, or function as a receptacle for excess water and leaves when brewing tea.
